Pig farmers since 1979, Dews Meadow has been supplying traditional home produced pork and bacon to the public since 1986. Our product range has steadily grown during the years, but the emphasis has always been on producing the most tender and flavoursome of meats by natural growth methods.
All our pork is produced in a traditional manner to the highest quality standards. The pigs are bred outside and finished in a straw-based, unstressed system, where no growth promoters, hormones, routine antibiotics, or added copper are used. Add the optimum mix of breeds, and the result is the flavour and tenderness of traditional pork.
Our award-winning dry-cured green and smoked bacon has consistently proven itself to be amongst the best for taste, appearance and 'texture'. Our home-cured hams and collars, both smoked and unsmoked complete the range of cured products.
One of our specialities is our range of home-made pork sausages and burgers. Our range of sausages is additive-free and includes a gluten-free sausage.
A discerning selection of cooked products including pâté, salami (olive, garlic and sweet pepper), hazlet, Devonshire hogs pudding and black pudding is also available.

Open: Shop open Monday & Wednesday to Saturday 8.30am-5pm. Late evening Friday to 6pm.
