Christmas Common Conserves specialise in jellies, jams and chutneys produced, (mainly) from locally sourced produce, usually grown in my garden or the local hedgerow. I use the traditional open pan method, which means that, chutneys in particular will change slightly with each batch. I have my own orchard so apples are easy to come by; as is my large plot for growing vegetables and other fruits.
My recipes are often found in old recipe books or from great combinations that come to me while creating the next batch.
A great favourite is my Seville Orange Marmalade, made with the whole orange and one lemon per 6lb of oranges. Another best seller is my Blackberry, Apple and Sloe Vodka jelly.
I also make for a local brewery, a pub and a post office and stores.
